The EMU Professional 3/5 Modbus 3-phase measuring transformer meter has an integrated RS485 Modbus RTU and ASCII interface and is suitable for energy cost billing and energy management in accordance with ISO 50001.

Modbus RTU and ASCII interface
The Modbus RTU and ASCII interface is integrated into the EMU Professional 3/5 and protected against dirt and tampering. Modbus RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) transmits the data in binary form. Modbus ASCII transmits the data in ASCII code. The EMU Professional communicates via Modbus at 9,600, 19,200, 38,400, 57,600 and 115,200 baud.
