The CHINT DTSU666 (Art. 313280) is a reliable 3-phase energy meter for the precise recording of electricity consumption. Thanks to MID certification (Class B), the device is ideal for applications where traceable and reliable energy billing is required.

What does MID Class B mean?

This meter complies with MID Class B, which corresponds to an accuracy of approx. 1%. This makes it ideally suited for most applications such as PV systems, tenant electricity, wallbox billing or sub-meters.

Higher classes such as MID Class D (˜ 0.2% accuracy) are mainly used in industrial or grid operator applications. For typical building installations, Class B offers the optimum combination of accuracy and economy.

Interface & integration

The DTSU666 has an RS485 interface with Modbus protocol. This allows the meter to be easily integrated into energy management systems, inverters or smart home solutions (e.g. for PV monitoring or load management).
