The UMD 98 is a high-performance front panel meter and replaces all analogue measuring devices. It measures 3/4-phase current and voltage in 4-quadrant operation in class 0.2 and thus the work in class 0.5s as well as all standard mains variables, e.g. harmonics up to the 50th harmonic. The device is connected via current transformers with N/5 A and N/1 A. It maps the power quality in accordance with EN 50160, EN 61000-2-2, EN 61000-2-4, EN 61000-2-12 and has a brilliant large colour graphic display. The UMD 98 is conveniently operated via 5 function keys. It has two analogue inputs for RCM measurement. It can be used in 230/400 V TN-S networks. It has a large 512 MB memory and an integrated web server. The device can be accessed via the Ethernet interface (with 5 ports) and the mini-USB connection on the front. This means that Internet protocols can also be read in and PLC and building management systems can be easily connected. Digital inputs/outputs and a serial RS485 interface are also integrated. The PQ S and GO firmware modules can be added to the measuring device to analyse the network. The device is parameterised and visualised using the ENVIS software. The CPU operates at 25.6 kHz. * Also suitable for top-hat rail mounting with adapter.
